Im interested in being an officer in the marines. I went to a drug detox for 4 days approximatley 3 years ago. I understand I need a secret security clearance to be an officer. Am I screwed?

Yes it will show up. And it is even worse if you try to hide it and they catch your lie.
Note: It is still possible to get a clearance if you can show that the detox program was successful in helping you reform (100%) from drug usage. The people evaluating you for a clearance are trying to predict your future behaviour and good solid evidence that the drug usage will never reoccur will be looked at favorably.
Of course there will be the issue of whether the Marines will accept you given your drug history.
For just a Secret clearance, it may show up, but it shouldn’t have any affect on you getting the clearance. For Top Secret, it may be an issue, but still not guaranteed to prevent you from getting the clearance. That would depend on the details.
