This is a wonderful, simple book about how to help someone struggling with addiction. No psycho-babble, just straight-forward information on addiction, how to help and how to pick an appropriate treatment center. Highly recommended.

This is an excellent book regarding any addiction…what it is, its treatment, its life-long committment to recovery. Much, much good information, including rehabilitation places, other authors, enabling, helping, etc., etc.

Everyone should read this book in order to understand alcoholism and especially if someone they love is an alcoholic. It provides detailed steps to perform an intervention and educates loved ones on how to recognize unhelpful, enabling behaviors and what to do instead. Unfortunately, since alcoholism is so prevalent in the USA, it is a must read for all.
