It is called the “Delancy Street Foundation”. They have a restaurant at the intersection of Delancy St and The Embarcadero, at the foot of the Bay Bridge. I’ve eaten there, and the food is pretty good. They’ve got a wood burning rotisserie for chicken. They have vocational training for back of the house (Kitchen) and front of the house (Service).
The foundation also has training in other areas. They have a moving van company, and a few other programs. They have been in existence many years, helping people to gain confidence, experience, and a new lease on life.
